Exploring the role of innovative technology-based solutions in increasing access to mental health care for underprivileged community


Introduction

One of major key research area to increase access to mental health care for all including those are socioeconomically and geopolitically vulnerable. We explore how we can use the telepsychiatry solutions for early identification and interventions for them in cost effective way. In a collaborative study we aimed to find out the scope and reliability of free hand sketch in identifying the PTSD among the different communities including the slum dwellers and refugees. We also focused to raise the issue of using the telepsychiatry service for the refugees, garments worker and those living in remote areas.
