About TRIN

The Telepsychiatry Research and Innovation Network is committed to ensuring access to quality mental health care for all. We conduct research to identify the needs and the barriers to care, develop solutions, and test their impact on populations who remain beyond the reach of traditional mental health services.

TRIN has developed multiple award-winning digital mental health solutions, which makes us the pioneer organisation in the region for designing, building and implementing technology-based mental health care. Our telepsychiatry platform removes the geographic barrier, cuts the waiting time, and takes the cost of travelling out of the equation.

We deliver evidence-based care through the largest team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, public health professionals and IT specialists in the country. The work is supported by world-leading scientific organisations including the National Institute of Mental Health, and by international collaborations such as the TRANSFORM research network.

Intent

Mission

What we are doing

To revolutionise the accessibility of mental health care through research, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care that lets every mind thrive.

Vision

What we are working towards

A proactive, intelligent and data-driven global health ecosystem in which mental wellness is universally accessible, stigma is gone, and every individual gets personalised, research-backed support.

Method

How we work

Four strands, and each one feeds the others — what the field teaches becomes a study, and what a study proves becomes a training programme or a tool.

Strand 01 · Research

Evidence

Evidence-based inquiry into the needs and the barriers — who is not reached, and what is stopping them.

Strand 02 · Clinical care

Treatment

Psychiatrists and psychologists delivering evidence-based sessions to ethical standard — individual, couple or family focused, online or face to face.

Strand 03 · Innovation

Tools

MonerDaktar connects psychiatrists and psychologists with clients nationwide, and won the Commonwealth Digital Health Award 2020. MonerShastho puts evidence-based mental health information and practice sessions in reach of everyone.

Strand 04 · Capacity building

Teaching

Training programmes tailored to the need in front of us — from adolescent mental health to dementia care. Parenting for Adolescents has become a recommended resource for families.

People
