Conducted Peer Support Training Program to improve Mental health and Wellbeing of Health Professionals

Due to the COVID-19, the frontline fighters of the pandemic have been facing mental health distress, harmful pressure, depression, uncertainty, and anxiety has drastically increased. Unfortunately, there is meager opportunity for mental health care support for professionals and changing the situation is a great challenge. At this moment, in order to keep the health workers lively and joyful apart from their mental health issues, Director General of Health Services and Save The Children launched a training program in 20 districts of BangladeshTelepsychiatry Research and Innovation Network (TRIN) has been responsible for the working manual, training conduction, and completion. Regarding that matter, on April 5, 2022 the Civil Surgeon Office at Munshigonj arranged a conference, “Peer Support Training for Healthcare Workers.” Dr. Tanjir Rashid Soron, Managing Director of Telepsychiatry Research & Innovation Network, Psychologist Tanzina Chowdhury and Mahadi Hasan was present during the conference as well.
